Welcome to ChartwellsK12 at Grosse Pointe Schools

OUR PROMISE: To extend our passion, dedication, knowledge and enthusiasm into serving each student delicious and nutritious meals. To nourish the bodies, minds and spirits of our students and pave the way for a lifetime of success and well-being.

Summer is here! Though we do not have a summer feeding program, there are communities near by that provide FREE meals to children 18 and under.  Free meals are also available for disabled persons, regardless of age, who are determined by MDE or a local public educational agency (school district or public school academy) to be mentally or physically disabled and who participate in a public or non-profit private school program established for the mentally or physically disabled.  Click HERE to find summer programs near you!

    Have a great summer!

Chartwells is excited to present new equipment for the Grosse Pointe Public School System.  With Chartwells entering the second year in your School System, we noticed the need for new equipment. We knew we needed to invest in equipment that would help us create higher quality meals for Staff and Students.  The Food Service Management Team lead the way in reviewing all current equipment and evaluating what needs to be replaced. The investment so far includes six commercial convection ovens, nine transportation-warming units, ten steam tables, one milk cooler, four salad bars, and several other kitchen items that help with production. Our investment also includes remodeling several serving areas to keep them fresh and up to date.

Learn. We build sharp minds and strong bodies with a healthful, balanced approach to school dining. We share our knowledge of the life-enhancing benefits of good nutrition with students, our families and our communities.
Live. We enrich the lives of our students and the communities we live through socially responsible and sustainability best practices. We are planting the seeds of health and wellness.
