    FREE MEALS
    Per the USDA, all meals (Breakfast and Lunch) at all B-R Schools are FREE for all students, for this entire school year, 2020-21. 
    In addition, the USDA has informed us that all school meals will be free again for the entire 2021-22 School Year.
    Choosing a meal served at school or at a remote pickup location (MES) directly benefits the B-R School District and the B-R Food Service Program.
    Student Identification or PIN #s are not necessary at this time for in-school meals or remote meals. 

    REMOTE MEALS
    Remote Meal Pickup, Breakfast and Lunch, is available at the Mitchell Elementary School in Bridgewater at the circle drive entrance area/window between 945am-1230pm on school days.  
    There is no preordering necessary.
    Remote Meal Pickup is available thru June 18, 2021.  Remote Meal Pickup is not available on Memorial Day, May 31.
    You are encouraged to take as many meals as you would like (for future days, weekends) when you visit our rempote meal site.

    CLASSROOM CELEBRATIONS
    Classroom Celebrations (Ordering Birthday Treats for Student Classrooms) are NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  
    We hope to bring Classroom Celebrations back in the Fall, 2021.


    A La Carte/Snacks/Beverages
    The A La Carte Snack Station is now available at the B-R HS, Williams Intermediate and RMS.  
    Pay with Cash, a Check to "B-R" or Funds on Account for all items at the A La Carte Line.  
    A La Carte Snacks are NOT Free.  
    Students with a negative balance on their cafeteria account are not allowed to purchase a la carte snacks and beverages.

    Student Cafeteria Account Balances
    All cafeteria account balances, positive AND negative will carry over from year to year.
    Please pay negative balances (lunch charges incurred prior to pandemic) in a timely manner.  Letters/e-mails are sent periodically indicating the need for payment.
    Payments may be made to student accounts with cash, check or on-line account at mypaymentsplus.com.
    To receive a refund of any positive account balances, or to transfer balances to a sibling, or to donate balances to a student in need, please e-mail brfoodservice@bridge-rayn.org.

    2020-21 Free and Reduced Meals Application

    All  meals are FREE for students during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 School Years per the USDA.  You may compete a new F+R Application that may entitle you to other benefits associated with your benefit status based upon your completed application.  

    P-EBT Cards may be allocated to families with students that qualify for free or reduced price meals.  Questions, click here.

    If you would like to apply for free or reduced price meals, return it to any school's main office for processing, or the Food Service Office at MES, 166 Mt Prospect St, Bridgewater, MA 02324.  You may also scan or attach a copy of your completed application to an email to brfoodservice@bridge-rayn.org.

    Application packets are sent home with all students at the beginning of this school year and for new students upon enrollment.  Aplications are available at the link above or at any school's main office.

    You may also compete an application on-line at 

    If you've received a Direct Certification Letter from the Food Service Office indicating that you are eligible for free meals, you do not need to complete an application.  You may apply for free and reduced price meals any time during the school year, as many times as you like.

    Cafeteria Account Refunds/Transfers  
    If you want to be refunded for any money on a student account, send an e-mail to Eric DeLisle at brfoodservice@bridge-rayn.org.  Let us know student's name and who to make a refund check out to.  We also need to know the address it should be sent to.  We'll process it right away.

    If you want any money on a student account transfered to a sibling, send an e-mail to Eric DeLisle at brfoodservice@bridge-rayn.org.  Let us know the student's name and who to transfer the money to.  We'll process it right away.

    Please note that all student cafeteria account balances, positive or negative, will roll over to the next school year.  Parents/guardians are responsible for payment of any lunch/breakfast charges incurred in the B-R Cafeterias.

    Some Important Notes 

    Lunch Prices, Cafeteria PIN #s, MyPaymentsPlus.com, Cafeteria Payments

    • Student Lunch prices for 2020-21 ans 2021-22 at all schools are FREE
    • Lunch includes 5 food components including a meat/meat alternative, whole grains, fruits, vegetables & milk. 
    • Grab and Go Breakfast is FREE at all schools. Breakfast includes 4 components including whole grains, meat/meat alternative, fruit, juice & milk.  
    • Student PIN #s remain the same year after year.  If a student has forgotten their PIN, cafeteria cashiers are able to assist in the lunchroom if necessary.
    • On-Line payments are accepted at mypaymentsplus.com.  Parents/Guardians may set themselves up as users and add students to their account.  You will need the student's 8 digit ID # to set up on line payments.  Please email brfoodservice@bridge-rayn.org to obtain 8 digit IDs.  You can monitor purchases on cafeteria accounts on-line at mypaymentsplus.com whether you pay on-line or with cash or checks.
    • You may pay daily or prepay any amount with cash or checks made payable to "BRRSD".  Please include student name, PIN or 8 digit ID in memo portion of checks.  Cash and Checks will be accepted by cafeteria cashiers in the lunchroom.
    • At this time, student meals are free.  If a student wants a second lunch, they will be charged an a la carte price of $3.15 (2020-21) or $3.25 (2021-22).  
    • Students with cafeteria debt are not allowed to purchase "extras" or "a la carte" items until the debt is paid off.
    • All purchases made are the responsibility of parents/guardians.  Contact the Food Service Office if you have any questions.

    Substitute Cafeteria Workers 

    Are you looking for a part-time job in our school cafeterias, or do you know someone that might be interested? 

    We're always looking for friendly, smiling faces that want to join our team as an on-call substitute cafeteria worker.  Many on-call substitutes become permanent workers when positions become available.  If you can work any school days between 10am and 145pm (we're flexible) and you're interested in coming on board to help in any of our school lunchrooms, send an e-mail to brfoodservice@bridge-rayn.org.
